У каждой хозяйки дома есть вот такой вот пакетик. Это средство для прочистки канализационных труб, и тут у нас находится щёлочь. А из школьных уроков химии мы знаем, на что способна щёлочь, и сегодня мы применим наши знания.

Также у каждой хозяйки дома имеется алюминиевая фольга. Она является вторым ингредиентом нашего эксперимента. Алюминий - это очень активный металл в электрохимическом ряду. Он стоит возле магния, но при нормальных условиях он покрыт очень плотной оксидной плёнкой, которая не позволяет ему прореагировать с другими веществами.

Однако при попадании алюминия в щёлочь эта плёнка растворяется, и у нас очень интенсивно выделяется [музыка] водород. А водород, как известно, легче [музыка] воздуха.
