Bradley Cooper attempts to cross a snowy ravine on his own | Running Wild with Bear Grylls

Key things that Bradley needs to remember this morning is all the intricacies of firing that grappling gun. Then he's got to secure that line; if necessary, use that Vector system to double up that strength. Then he's got to commit to it and go for it because our extraction is on my side of the canyon.

So I'm just looking for two points. I think these two trees could work. I set the line up to one other place, that one maybe. So he's just got to be smart in which trees he picks. Shallow roots are not huge.

"How are you getting on, Bradley?"

"I found two good trees, so I'm just setting up a vector now."

"Yeah, great, great. Just make sure that angle is good. Whenever I have to trust my own memory of what someone's told me, that's when I get scared."

"Alright, it looks like it's... that's the key, right? Tie that off and then get to the grappling hook."

"Alright, so he's got the Anchor Point secure. Now he needs to get the Rope across this Canyon, and that's where he's gonna have to use a grappling hook. But there are a lot of quite complex components to that. I showed him it pretty fast yesterday; he's got to remember it now. I gotta do the 100. Scared for this one; it was all sort of left up to me. Bear kept saying that the pressure's gonna be the kickback's gonna be pretty big."

"Alright, I think I found a good spot. I'm sure. Do you see me?"

"Yeah, yeah. Remember you got wind coming this way, so aim off."

"Yeah, okay, copy that."

"Good shot, you got it. That's good. Okay, you're good to tension it up."

Okay, Bradley has done the hard part now. I'm gonna secure the Rope on my end and a safety line, and he's good to go. Cold can get to me, so it's a little hard to stay focused. So I started to get a little bit more worried than it was yesterday about just that added element of this temperature, what it would do.

So this is the final bit. I'm in with both, both cramps. He's got the tension, and now it's about going across here.

"You good to go, Bradley?"

"Alright, take your time to the edge, just commit to it and go for it. I'm here to do stuff that I saw on television that looked terrifying, thinking, well, I can't even imagine actually doing something like this. Really is just no return, so you just have to do it."

"Bradley, you got this. Alright, good job. That takes courage. You know he secured that totally on his own, that side. This side is good, but Ultra, you've got to trust yourself, and then you've got to do it. And that is a long way down. Well done, finally."

"I tell you what, the steel, there you go. And they're trying, you're gonna have to swing yourself around and stand on that rock to get up this bit. Come Away From The Edge."

"Oh my god, well done. Respect."
