Gee Pole | Yukon River Run
Mus: "Hy mush, mus! Oh, good job, hus! Job break! Break! This a nice trail right here. Hopefully it'll stay this way, but I think we're going to get into some rust country and a portage up there. We want to get up to our cabin. Laur and I want to get up there with our dogs and start training the dogs, and that's going to be a new part of our adventure right there."
Mus: "Hussies smush, mus! Hi, good job, husy! More than 20 miles out of town, the well-worn trails disappear and the snow gets deeper. Getting stranded out here could mean disaster. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!"

Mus: "Stop! We don't want him to bunch up. This is tough going here. We got quite a bit of load in our sled, and it won't stay in the trail. Sled goes over into the side, and it just drags the dogs down. Sometimes you got to get out and pull the sled out. Oh boy, we got to get over the py to that next trail. All right, go, buddy, go! Come on, give him a little push. Give him a little push, huh? Pull more. I am stuck! Give him a little push! Push the sled! Yeah, this is tough going here. We're going to have to got a Jeep, buddy."
Mus: "All right, there's our g-o right there! All right, Neil's plan is to attach a pole to the front of the sled, allowing him to lift and pull it over the snow banks instead of pushing. There we go! All right, buddy, think that'll work, Buddy? Mhm."
Mus: "The reason they call a gepo, it's on the right side, because it's on the right side of the sled. G means right, and ha means left. That'll hold. Okay, oh yeah, f it up there! Yeah, that'll work! Give him a push! Give a push off the right! H boy, okay, good boy, c g! Hey, we're back on track! All right, man, okay, let's go! He! Okay! Hi! Hi! Hi!"
