Как вы думаете, какой объект – молоток или перо – испытывает большее сопротивление воздуха?

В нашем случае наверняка большинство из вас скажет, что перо, потому что очевидно, на движение пера оно сказывается заметнее.

Но правильный ответ – это молоток. Сопротивление воздуха пропорционально квадрату скорости, а молоток падает гораздо быстрее пера.

А значит, испытывает большее воздействие сопротивления воздуха.

Но молоток весит гораздо больше, и сопротивлением воздуха для него можно пренебречь.

Поэтому молоток продолжает разгоняться по мере падения, а перо быстро достигает конечной скорости и сохраняет её.

В итоге всё сводится к соотношению веса и сопротивления воздуха.
