Which mechanical keyboard should you buy -The most aesthetic keyboard ever

So let's start with the conclusion. Should you buy the IQNEX F96 mechanical keyboard? Even though they start from 199 dollars to 250 dollars, the answer is yes! I spent so freaking much time using keyboards, sitting on my desk, writing with my keyboard. So the feeling of the keyboard and experience of the keyboard is very crucial. Not everybody can buy a desk keyboard, that's for sure. But if you're looking for a solid, good quality mechanical keyboard, then IQUNIX F96 is for you.

Hi guys, it's me, Dudee, your favorite good girl right here! Today we're going to be talking about one of my favorites, the most aesthetic keyboards out there. This is the IQUNIX F96 mechanical keyboard. As soon as I saw Alia Doll using a different shade of this mechanical keyboard, I thought, "Oh my god, I need this one!" As much as Ali loves Apple products, I love Ali Abdull himself. I contacted IQUNIX and said, "Hey, this keyboard is very cool, can you send it out to me?" And they said, "Of course!" But this video is not sponsored; they just sent me the product so I can say whatever I want about this keyboard, which I love.

Let's get started and let me explain a little bit about this keyboard. The one that I have is called IQUNIX F96 Grape Milk Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. We have five different color options and they are Avocado, Peach, Grape Milk, Soda Bubbles, and the Blueberry one. The thing that I like most about this product is the aesthetics. Basically, it looks so freaking nice, and my room is purple, as you can see. This aesthetic really fits my desk setup; like this literally levels up every single thing about my desk setup.

So let's talk about the variations of the IQUNIX keyboard. You can get wired and wireless ones. Mine is the wireless version, but you can also use it as a wired version as well. They give you the cable for it and you can connect it to your computer. I love that because sometimes my Mac Mini, this bad boy here, has problems with Bluetooth connection and sometimes it doesn't recognize this. It's not about this keyboard, but generally, the Mac Mini has problems with Bluetooth connection. Also, when I connect this to my MacBook Pro, it doesn't have any problems with Bluetooth. So I think that's just the problem of the Mac Mini. Whenever I have problems with the Mac Mini, I connect this keyboard with the wire to my Mac Mini so that I can use it however I want.

You can also get a version with the backlights, but mine doesn't have a backlight because I personally thought it's kind of really distracting to get those lights, and I knew that I'm not gonna use it. So I didn't get the backlight version of it. When it comes to switches, you have five different options and they are Cherry Brown, which is the one that I have, Cherry Red, Cherry Blue, Cherry Pink, and also the Cherry Silver. When I was getting this keyboard, I had no idea about these switches and how they change and all that stuff. But let me explain a little bit about the switches because when it comes to mechanical keyboards, the good thing is that you can really customize your mechanical keyboard. You can't really customize this one that much; you can maybe change the switches and all the stuff, but you can’t build it from completely scratch.

Let's talk about the mechanical switch and let's compare the mechanical switch so that you can know which one to get. So when it comes to mechanical keyboard types, actually, there are three main types, and they're linear, tactile, and the clicky ones. A website says linear switches have the simplest operation. They move straight up and down without any tactile feedback or clicking noise. The smooth keystroke allows for more rapid actuation, making them the preferred switch for gamers. I don't play games, so I didn't get the Cherry MX Red one.

The next one is the one that I have, which is the Cherry MX Brown tactile. Tactile switches provide tactile feedback; they provide a noticeable bump in the middle of the travel to let you know that your key press has been registered. They’re ideal for typing because you get a slight indication of the key press without needing to bottom out your keys. It is very good for typing, and I personally love the feeling of this mechanical keyboard switch because you don’t necessarily have to push until the bottom. You can push half of it and it will be registered.

After that, we have the Cherry MX Blue switches. These are the clicky switches; it has that clicky sound that I don’t like. I don’t really love that clicky sound and I think it’s kind of distracting when you’re on Zoom calls or when you’re doing live streams. Whatever, I don’t love that clicky sound, so I didn’t prefer that. When it comes to mechanical keyboard switches, there are so many things to learn about, so I'm just gonna put a link that you can read about the mechanical keyboard switches so that you can get a more idea about what switches you should choose or you should not, etc.

Let me show you the sound and the typing experience of this particular keyboard. Let's talk about the charging; since mine doesn't have the backlights, I haven't charged this since I got this. It's been a month, I guess, and I've never charged this. But as I read from the reviews online, if you turn the back lights on, you have to charge like every three or four days or something, which is super annoying, and I'm sure that I'm not gonna do that.

This is made out of an aluminum alloy case and comes with PBT keycaps. As you can see, it’s pretty solid and it’s kind of like a brick. It is very heavy; it is approximately about 1060 grams to 1200 grams. When I read the reviews, when you put this on your desk, it doesn’t move; it’s just like a very solid, bricky material. But for those who travel quite a lot here and there, I wouldn’t recommend this keyboard because it’s very heavy. When I brought this to Japan, my model was pretty angry.

You can connect this to three different devices and switching between the devices is very easy. This is what I like, and the thing you have to do is to press the function and the 2 for the second device, and function and 3 for the third device. As you can see, there is a light that is showing up: device one is blue, device two is kind of like orangey color, and then device three is a pink color. I would say this is a very good quality mechanical keyboard and if you’re spending quite a lot of time, like me, in front of your computer, this mechanical keyboard is a good one to buy. If you buy this, you know that you’re not gonna regret it.

However, I don’t think that this is like for everybody. If you're just using your computer here and there, and if you're just gonna buy this just for its aesthetics, I wouldn’t really recommend that much because it’s kind of expensive. So I think it is always good to consider if you’re spending enough time to buy this in front of your computer or not.

That was it for today! I hope you guys enjoyed this video and let me see you in my next video. Bye! [Music] My
