Turning into the HULK with Photoshop

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be showing you how to change someone's skin color to make them look like the Hulk, and to change their skin texture.

So, on first, you can just take a picture of yourself in Photo Booth. So, I'm going to do that. Next, we're going to drag that to your desktop. Let's delete that, and you're going to open it with Photoshop.

Ok, now with the magic wand tool on, you're just going to want to select your face. It doesn't have to be perfect; just try not to select too much of your lips and try not to get your eyebrows. And, um, you can get rid of those little holes. So, that's good enough.

I'm going to copy it, that way I can just paste it and get rid of that. Next, you want to go to "Image," then "Adjustments," and "Desaturate." Then, you're going to go to "Image," "Adjustments," and "Hue/Saturation." You're going to make sure that "Colorize" is checked.

To make it look like the Hulk, we're going on a deep green. So, we're just going to drag that to make it a little darker. Now, we've got a basic thing like that. We can unselect it by going like that or right on like this.

Ok, now you see I got a little green there that I don't want. So, I'm gonna press "Apple V," just going to paste what I had selected before. Just bring it to about the right spot. Bring it exactly to the right spot; there shouldn't be any green at all.

Now, I'm gonna want to find "Hide." I'm going to want to hide that and take my eraser tool, just an eraser tool. I'm going to make the flow 20 percent so it doesn't look too intense. Now, I'm just gonna grab that and make it a little bit bigger. You can get that window by control-click.

I'm just going to do everything except for the little line because the magic wand tool isn't perfect. There we go, that's good enough! So now, just my face is green.

Now I can go back to this layer and go "Select All," "Unlock" it. Ok, so it will now be easier to find with the magic wand tool since it's all green. And remember, we don't care if that's selected because there's another piece right over it.

Ok, so now that that's done, you can just search "Texture," and you go right there, "Texturize" right there. Now, they let you pick a whole bunch of cool textures, like these. You can just apply whatever you want, and it's gonna change based on your foreground and background color.

So, one of the ones I like a lot for if you want to make it look more like the Hulk is to texturize right there. The scaling says how big the tents are, and this says how much it's affecting. It's very sensitive, so if you bring it a little bit less, it'll be none at all. If you bring it like that, it'll be way too much.

So, you're just going to keep that where it was pretty much, maybe a little bit less. I like these sort of at about ninety percent. And then you can just click OK.

Then, you can just use the magic wand tool, I mean the magic wand tool, the polygon lasso tool. Select there, right there. And as you can see, you turned into the Hulk!

So, there you go— that's how you can texturize your face and also change the colors. Hope this helped you, and thank you for watching!
