A private jet for $500,000?

Steve: "I've heard about these jets called Haers. Yeah, what about them? I didn't even know they exist. Could you tell me a little bit more about them?"

Sure, of course! Come over here. These are the airplanes. They're really inexpensive from the standpoint of comparing them to all the other bigger airplanes. They go between four passengers and nine passengers.

But they go from a Hawker 400 XP, which is a tiny little one, or a Premier, which is a tiny airplane, but it's nice for four passengers. And you go up to the top of the line, which now is about a Hawker 900 XP. They go anywhere between a million to, let's say, $7 million.

Steve: "Which one would you recommend?"

Well, it depends. I mean, how many people you want to carry? How far you got to go? But really, the Hawker 900 XP is probably the best one of the bunch.

Steve: "Can I get one for $500,000?"

You want it to fly? Actually, you can get one for $500,000, but this Hawker 700, let's say, you can't get it for that price. But it's going to cost you two or three times more the purchase price just for the maintenance.
