Mr. Freeman, part 49

·Nov 11, 2024

I constantly hear - Freeman, what should we do? Give us a sign! Make a revolution! We will follow you! Aaah... You know all the answers to all of your questions, but you like it so much to pose as gifted with naivety girls...

All right, I'll retrieve the answers from the hopeless depth of your tiny crania... and let the one who has ears become sighted.

Now, close your eyes, and keep them shut until I tell you to open them. Close them... I SAID: CLOSE YOUR EYES!!! Aha, I see that we've got a deal. It's correct — there's no use to stare at the screen. The most important thing for today will take place not here.

And so, let's begin. Imagine that you are sitting on the top of a beautiful hill among the aromatic herbs, flowers, trees. Your breath is smooth. One... two... three... You are falling into a deep meditation, as though it is a space of your endless mind. Everything that has concerned you disappears and slowly flows to the place where even time vanishes in the eternal "Now".

And here you are returning back to your normal condition. You look at your... Argh... hands... argh!.. legs... What's wrong? Your physical body has died away long ago... you have turned into a SKELETON!!!.. Yeehaaa! And with the first sunshine you crumble to dust. And only pure mind is left. The ULTIMATE FREEDOM!!! Ha-ha-ha!

No envy to your neighbour, no senseless anger, old offense, greed, fear — all that stinking burden which trampled you down in world's mud and guarded you in the basements of existence. The way is...

...free now! And you want to rejoice over it, and to respond to the whole world with love. And now open your eyes and look what we've done. Watch it carefully: it seems that nothing changed. Wait, did you hear that?

Thunderstorm has struck into the thunder's tomtoms and lightning draws the new picture of world. And soon enough even a child will be able to find ten basic differences. And can you see new things? Be on alert, because the Road appears under the steps of the walking one.

Justification with the intermediate value theorem: table | AP Calculus AB | Khan Academy
