20 years ago, hip surgery was not a day in, day out. It was not. I think I was only here 3 hours and 40 minutes. Because we’ve been able to save operational money, we can convert that into equipment and technology for the hospital, and that made patients recover quicker. Then they came.

Why would everybody want that? Well, you have to be able to have the technology, and you have to be able to afford that procedure. Very advanced.

Okay, now that was a few years ago. Then along came the robotic systems. The robotic systems, and we were the first hospitals to have them, allow really accurate placement of the joint. And that’s important, right? You have to get that. For me, that’s very important; it’s very important for everybody.

Then our teams came together: physician staff, environmental services, everybody, and said, “How do we streamline this so that we can do them faster and quicker? How can we manage pain?” So the patient's up walking, as you said, 45 minutes later and be pain-free. Our Inus worked with our surgeons and our teams and created a very unique block.
